Regulatory statement 114.2: pEPR producer data requirements

This regulatory statement (RS) is valid until 2 April 2028 by which time it will be reviewed. You should check back at that time to ensure the RD is still valid.

Natural Resources Wales (NRW) can withdraw or amend this RS before the review date if we consider it necessary. This includes where the activities that this RS relates to have not changed.

Regulatory statement

NRW will not take enforcement action against you if you do not collect and report data relating to nation of sale and self-managed organisational waste, under the Producer Responsibility Obligations (Packaging and Packaging Waste) Regulations 2024, for the specific periods set out below.

1. 2026 nation of sale and self-managed organisation waste data.

Data collected by producers for the period 1 January to 31 December 2026, to be reported by 1 April 2027.

2. 2027 nation of sale and self-managed organisation waste data 

Data collected by producers for the period 1 January to 31 December 2027, to be reported by 1 April 2028.

Enforcement

This RS does not change or remove any of your legal obligations under the Producer Responsibility Obligations (Packaging and Packaging Waste) Regulations 2024.

However, NRW will not normally take enforcement action if you do not comply with the specific legal requirements set out in this RS.
